The World Food Programme - Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (WFP/VAM) unit plays a dual role in the design and management of WFP's emergency and development activities. As an information tool, VAM provides up-to-date information about who the hungry poor are, why they are vulnerable, and where food aid should be targeted. As an operational organization, WFP/VAM responds to real time emergencies providing maps and assessments. This page is maintainted by DEPHA for the WFP/VAM-Kenya Office to facilitate public access to WFP/VAM information products.

Maps provided in this section represent Kenya and will be updated as new products become available. Additional WFP products and information are available through the main WFP website and the Kenya Food Security website.

Maps have been grouped according to four general categories of food security, HIV aids, schools, and logistics and can be accessed using the tabs at the top of the page. Specific maps such as those pertaining to current events will be provided below.
