The digital data used to create this mosaic have pixel resolutions of 28.5 meters. There are 6 bands 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7. To enhance the color presentation the data were contrast adjusted and spatially enhanced. |

ACCURACY: |
Comprised
of over 1270 individual scenes, covering over 30 million square kilometers
(11.5 million square miles), this mosaic of Landsat
Thematic Mapper Imagery has an absolute positional
RMS accuracy of 50 meters. Such accuracy is made possible by virtue of the
fact that the geodetic positioning of the entire collection of 1270 plus
scenes was simultaneously adjusted using block adjustment.
